Fall Workshop in Tuscany!

Join me for a week of sketching and painting and touring and eating.... in beautiful Tuscany this September! I promise you will have excellent accommodations, delicious food, breathtaking scenery, and lots of fun! I have structured this workshop for all levels of experience. Get as much or as little guidance as you want. We will travel light with watercolors either water soluble pencils or paints, drawing tools, and sketchbooks. Bring your camera and I will show you how to work from your photographs and sketches back at home.

Callaway Azalea Time

The azaleas are bursting out all over Callaway gardens and I can't wait to get out and paint them again this year. I hope all of you are feeling the same. I have plans to be at the gardens from March 30 through April 6. If you are in the area and want to come paint with me just give me a call on my cell phone and I'll tell you where I am. 706-975-6419

In years gone by I've tried to organize a paint-out but this year I need to be a bit more relaxed and not have a full schedule. For the ladies coming from out of town, you are welcome to stay at my house if you have an aero bed you can bring. March 30 and 31 I do have two beds that are empty, so if you could come those days you wouldn't need to bring an aero bed. Call me and I'll fill you in on the details. Guys, I look forward to seeing some of y'all painting in the gardens too.

PAINT IN MONET'S GARDENS

A unique opportunity for artists to spend a week in Giverny, France with access to painting inside Monet's Gardens daily. I need 7 artists committed by February 5 to reserve a week in the early fall with Art Study, Giverny. Any medium welcome. Non-painting spouse or friend can enjoy the quiet French village or do day trips on their own if they don't want to go with painters. House has a full studio where we can keep our "stuff" and paint inside anytime. A full time chef will prepare meals. This is every artist's dream, whether you paint florals, gardens, village scenes, the Seine River, architectural closeups of doors and windows, etc. The waterlilies will be in season. You don't want to miss this!
